We have been supplying security equipment since 2009 — ninety manufacturer lines across video, access control, door hardware, intrusion, power, cabling and networking. Send a specification or a parts list; get back a quote a purchasing department or a contracting officer can actually process.
01 What we supply
Ninety manufacturer lines, six categories, one purchase order.
Breadth is the point: a door needs a reader, a strike, a power supply, a position switch, cable and a bracket, and those come from six different manufacturers. Buying them on one PO is how the schedule survives.

Fixed, multi-sensor, PTZ and specialty cameras, recorders and video management software, encoders, monitors and video storage.

Controllers and panels, readers, credentials and card printers, elevator and turnstile interfaces, visitor and identity management hardware.

Exit devices, electric strikes, maglocks, power transfers, door position switches, request-to-exit devices and the brackets nobody remembers to order.

Access control and CCTV power supplies, PoE injectors and midspans, UPS, batteries, surge protection and the distribution boards that keep a rack tidy.

02 How buying through us works
Six steps from specification to a serial number in the as-built.
Spec-matched BOM
You send a specification, a drawing set or a parts list. We return a line-by-line bill of materials with manufacturer part numbers, quantities, accessories and the spares worth carrying — flagging anything that will not do what the spec says it should.
Quote
Unit pricing, extended pricing, freight and lead time per line, in a format your purchasing group or contracting officer can read. Alternates are quoted next to the base, never instead of it.
Lead times & allocation
Lead time is quoted per line, and we tell you which lines are the schedule risk. When a part is allocated or discontinued we bring you a substitution with the differences spelled out, before the PO, not after it.
Staging & kitting
Orders can be received, checked against the BOM, and staged by phase, floor or door so the crew opens a labeled box instead of a pallet. Serial numbers captured at staging feed the as-built record.
Drop-ship
Or skip staging entirely and have material shipped straight to the site, the contractor’s shop or a government receiving dock, with the packing list matched to the purchase order.
Warranty & RMA
We keep the purchase record, so a failure two years later is a phone call rather than an archaeology project. We open the RMA with the manufacturer and follow it through advance replacement where the line supports it.
03 Government purchasing
Built for the way a contracting office actually buys.
We supply commercial clients and federal agencies. Federal work has its own paperwork, its own sourcing restrictions and its own idea of what a quote looks like — none of which should be a surprise on the day the requirement closes.

Quotes built for solicitations
Line-item quotes that map to your RFQ or RFP structure — unit price, extended price, delivery, and brand-name-or-equal justification where the solicitation allows it. Pricing valid for the period you need, not for seven days.

Vendor onboarding paperwork
W-9, remit-to details, insurance certificates and the SAM/UEI and CAGE information your contracting office asks for are handled with the quote rather than after award, so the PO is not held up by a form.

Section 889 / NDAA-aware sourcing
Section 889 of the FY2019 NDAA bars federal agencies from procuring covered telecommunications and video surveillance equipment from the named entities and their subsidiaries and affiliates. We keep those products off federal bills of material and identify the substitution at quote time.

Domestic-manufacture options
Many lines we carry are manufactured in the United States. Where country of origin, Buy American or Trade Agreements Act treatment matters to your contract, we ask the manufacturer to confirm it in writing for the specific part number before we quote it — we do not certify origin ourselves.
04 Small projects
One camera, one door, one bad power supply.
Not every job needs a contractor mobilization. Small non-permitted work under $1,000 all-inclusive we can handle directly — a swap-out, a single device, a head-end tidy-up. Anything larger, anything permitted, and anything that touches the building’s life-safety or electrical systems goes to your licensed contractor.
Scope, stated once
LA CCTV Supply provides security consulting and system design, sells the equipment and trains your people. We are not an installing contractor: installation is performed by your licensed contractor, except for small non-permitted work under $1,000 all-inclusive, which we can handle directly.
LA CCTV Supply holds no CSLB contractor licence and does not bid installation work. That is deliberate: it is what lets us write a specification and level the bids on it without holding the scope we wrote.

What to attach
- A parts list or specification — even a photo of a marked-up schedule beats a description.
- Drawings — PDF is fine; sheet numbers help us quote by phase.
- Quantities and phasing — what ships first, and where it ships to.
- The date it has to be on site — lead time drives substitutions more than price does.
- Federal? Say so up front — sourcing restrictions and paperwork change the answer.
Please don’t attach classified information, CUI, or drawings that identify an accredited facility by address. Send those through the channel your security officer approves.

If the part number is unusual, call — it is faster than three emails.

No. Plenty of orders arrive as a parts list from somebody else's drawings. Send the list or the specification and we will quote it; if we think a line is wrong for the application we will say so alongside the price rather than quietly substituting.
Can you substitute a part that is discontinued or allocated?
Yes, and we show our work: the original part, the proposed replacement, and what changes — form factor, mounting, firmware, licensing, listing. You approve the substitution. On federal work the sourcing restrictions are checked before the alternate is offered.
Will you install it?
No, with one narrow exception. LA CCTV Supply provides security consulting and system design, sells the equipment and trains your people. We are not an installing contractor: installation is performed by your licensed contractor, except for small non-permitted work under $1,000 all-inclusive, which we can handle directly.
How do you handle a failure under warranty?
We hold the purchase record and the serial numbers from staging, so the claim starts with evidence. We open the RMA with the manufacturer, chase it, and arrange advance replacement where that line offers it. Labor to swap the device is your contractor's scope.
